Hospice patients often have terminal illness or debilitating and limiting physical pain that can make something as simple and regular as going to the bathroom almost impossible. Many of our patients’ families are unable to provide constant assistance because they have jobs and homes to take care of. At Serenity Hospice, we offer home health aide to all patients, whether they are staying in a home or a facility. Our trained hospice aides have the skills, and more importantly, the compassion to provide personal care to patients in their own environment.

Our health aides can provide patients and their families with a variety of helpful services, including:

• Assistance with basic personal needs, such as getting out of bed
• Walking/light exercises
• Dressing

They also educate family members and other caregivers on excellent care techniques to help them feel comfortable providing day-to-day care between home health aide visits.
